So I have been feeding birds since the beginning of last Summer, I make sure to have plenty of different seeds out there including suet. I have been anxious for the seasons to change to see the new birds. I am beginning to recognize birds first by their call, and this makes me happy:D So this morning I heard a call that I didn't recognize. I sprung up from my stool, grabbed my camera and ran to the window. It was a cardinal but I was TOO LATE!!! Put the camera on the window sill and waited, waited, waited for the unfamiliar call again. An hour later she came back!
I sat there behind my lens watching and listening to her for a few minutes before she flew off. I got some pics, nothing amazing because she was moving too much for me to really focus.
